During the Christmas Season everyone has the need to go out a night or two for a special dinner date, so yesterday I visited Sophie’s Restaurant and once again I LOVED IT!
Who doesn’t love to shop & eat at the same time? Well this Restaurant is located at Saks Fifth Avenue in the Mall of San Juan, in Puerto Rico. You can have a very unique service from the store: dining while you shop.
The glamour was at its finest and great service as usual. The chef and staff prepared a Special Holiday Menu; We started with a couple of refreshing beverages from their exquisite cocktail list: Sinful Delight and the Seasonal Martini. For the appetizer we had the crab-cake-like Ottowa Salmon; very good!
For the main dish, we ordered the Holiday Special Pork-Longaniza plate which was accompanied by a yuca and batata purée and we also ordered the Chermoula Spiced Dorado ‘Guanime’.
To finish the exquisite night with a bang, it was OBVIOUS that I was ordering the Brownie Tiramisu Afoga which has a chocolate covered brownie with two flavored ice cream and a tasty shot of expresso coffee on top to melt things down… Wow! It was amazing!
I truly recommend Sophie’s; great culinary explosion joined by an outstanding service.
