Hello friends,
Glad to be back in action here on the actual Blog. I’ve been engaging through social media outlets since Christmas has been a busy season!
Talking about Christmas & New Year, today I enjoyed a delicious “end-of-year” Brunch at Sophie’s at Saks Fifth Avenue in the Mall of San Juan.  I must say, the service and culinary explosion didn’t disappoint on this visit either. Our server, Victor was on point with all the suggestions; recommend him for an extraordinary service!

We started with a couple of delightful drinks: the Fashion Martini and a Bloody Mary. They complemented the blue sky and the great day that was starting.

Soon after, we had the server’s recommendation for Starters, a Cappuccino of Puerto Rican Mushroom Soup and a Seasonal Fruits And Yogurt Platter; I never thought I would love a mushroom soup so much. The fruity yogurt was so fluffy, cremy and refreshing that it went along perfectly with my Martini.

The Entrees for Brunch were out of this world. We had the Caribbean Lobster Omelette that was exquisite and the sweetly delicious Bananas Fosters French Toast.

To top it all, I oredered our server’s final recommendation, the Pearls with Dulce… Wow, it was like a sweet cuscus / rice pudding with a winter land twist; recommend it.

Once again, Sophie’s made of my pallet a culinary experience.

Enjoy! I know I did! 💗
